Safe Place digitizes and optimizes the process for tracking and locating positives Covid cases to make closed spaces safer.
The mobile application has been created for the Polytechnic School of Mieres of the University of Oviedo and has been a new way of controlling access to classrooms.
The University of Oviedo is the public university of Asturias where a large percentage of the R & D & I is developed, as well as having numerous research projects and collaborations with companies.
One of the main objectives of the institution is to share its knowledge and for this, it relies on collaboration with some companies in Asturias.
With the coronavirus pandemic and the restrictions arising from it, face-to-face classes at the University of Oviedo have been interrupted, causing inequalities opportunities in education.
For this reason, the Polytechnic School of Mieres contacted our team. They needed a mobile contact tracing tool that would facilitate the follow-up and detection of positives and allow them to return to the classrooms under the necessary control and sanitary security measures.
The ABAMobile team has developed a free mobile application that students, teachers, or any employee can download on their iOS and Android devices.
Through it, users can scan the QR codes located in the different rooms of the university.
This allows the data to be digitized and collected in the cloud. Due to an administration panel, the university will be able to obtain reports in case of positive covid cases. In the event that a positive for Covid-19 is reported, it will be necessary to know its internal code and indicate a date. In this way, having a contacts report of that person will be easier.
