guppy is a carsharing project that was born in Asturias thanks to our client Grupo Junquera Marítima and the collaboration of the international energy group EDP, thus becoming the first carsharing service in Asturias.
Grupo Junquera is the head of a big group that has several companies in different industries.
Guppy carsharing service is created by the need to develop a sustainable urban mobility system to get around.
Concern for the environment and increased pollution has caused that electric cars are more and more present in cities.
Because of this trend, Grupo Junquera decides to carry out this project and contact ABAMobile to develop the carsharing mobile application.
At ABAMobile we have developed the guppy app. It is the new carsharing app in Asturias from which you can rent cars and pay for the kilometers you drive.
To do this, it is only necessary to download the application and complete the registration process where the driver’s license data and a credit card are requested to make the payment. In this way, electric cars are available to users to move in a comfortable and sustainable way. In addition, the app is available for iOS and Android.
For its development, we have used location technology, vehicle opening through BLE, and integration with the payment system.
