Sorcom is the rheumatology society of the Community of Madrid whose main function is to promote and share its knowledge, study, and research of rheumatic diseases, as well as offering service to people who need it.

Every year Sorcom organizes a congress focused on sharing knowledge of rheumatology where several talks and presentations are held by professionals. For the XXII edition of the congress, Sorcom contacted ABAMobile to develop a mobile application where attendees could have all the information about the event on their smartphones.

Need

Every year Sorcom organizes a conference focused on sharing knowledge of rheumatology where several talks and presentations are held by professionals. For the XXII edition of the congress, Sorcom contacted ABAMobile to develop a mobile application where attendees could have all the information about the event on their smartphones.

Solution

We created the Sorcom app, where people at the congress can access to the event information. Attendees can consult from schedules, location, information about the speakers and the talks, to the full program of the event. Also, people can access to social networks with the official hashtag # of the event.

We have developed the app for the congress through our Applications for Events platform. This tool allows developing a fast app with a design and a simple interface to improve navigation through the application and the user experience. Furthermore, the application is available for both Android and iOS devices.
